Dr Chan's revision lecture ended with him saying something like:
"You'll do better when you believe in god"
No further elaboration = cos the education system does not allow for that.
I have many & many friends who believe in god.
Many different god(s).
They would say that god gave them the strength & energy.
Helping them in everyway & anyway.
How great the god is to stay with them through anything & everything.
God is so special that it surpasses the parents *Cos god brings u onto this earth?*
The level of importance way surpasses your relatives your friends your partner.
How great is that ?? God is so wonderful.
What abt me -- A so called "free-thinker"
Who do i pray to ?? Who will i make wishes to ??
I don't pray to A God.
No basis & no knowledge of A God.
I dont have alter at home .. neither do i do prayers everyday.
Somehow, most of my relatives have switched from being a taoism to a buddhism.
So rituals will all be in accordance to buddhism practices.
I will go to a temple a few times in a year. Pray to god & also my ancestors.
I will pray to all God(s) that i passed by within the temple.
You respect them & they respect you.
When i'm feeling scared & couldnt calm down.
I might jus let "6 words" linger in my mind.
Or maybe i will pray to my "ancestors".
God is so busy. He/She has to be there for millions & billions of believer & more.
People trust that they are so mighty to be there for them everytime & anytime.
The ancestors are much free-ier. They are there to only bless u & their family members.I feel so much safer when i know that my grandparents will be there looking after me.
You believe in God. I believe in my Grandparents.
Everybody have their own believe. No point arguing over some religious issue that will never comes to an end ya. You choose yours & I choose mine. I respect your God & you respect Mine.
I don't mind people saying "God Bless You" to me. Recognizing the fact that I don't have a God of my own -- try not to use that on me =) *Sensitive Issue* kkx ^_^
People recognizes your religion & doesnt step on it. So Do You !!! =)
Unless religous doesnt teach you whats the meaning of Respect. But I think they would right ?!
