The Secret Reveals

Took a day leave on 10th Feb 2011.

Visited Universal Studio Singapore (USS) with huBb.

We meet up at 10am in the morning at Vivo City and walked towards RWS (Resorts World Sentosa) using the newly built Sentosa Boardway *Or Broadway*

Before entering USS, we took photos with the USS's Logo Ball which doesn't spin round & round, unlike the one at Japan.

Standing under the hot and sunny sun, our eyes couldn't open fully throughout the day.

It wasn't exactly nice weather to begin with, as it was too hot that huBb keeps perspiring and getting restless & moody.

USS wasn't as big as USJ but we're still able to enjoy the whole day there at USS.

At Hollywood, we queued with the crowd and took a photo with the Kung Fu Panda and the duck *Sorry, I'm not really sure of the characters over there*

We proceed on towards the New York City and was tempted to buy the special bottle with the pink or blue ice blended drinks. *We did bought it at the end of the day*

Follow up, reaching the Sci-Fi City where all the thrilling rides are. Out of the four rides which are available, three rides were open for play. We sat on the Galactica PX (The Cyclone). It is a combination of a rise and a drop and at the same time with spiral turns (like the helix bridge).

As many of my friends know, I've been having motion-sickness even when taking buses & mrt train rides. So, you could have guess what happen after the Galactica PX ride ended in a few minutes. Haha !! Nauseous-ness !!

huBb became really high after our first ride & also the most thrilling one.

Need a break, we walked towards the Ancient Egypt and took the Treasure Hunters ride. It was really hilarious when huBb commented that the rides I chose were of the extremes. Treasure Hunters ride is for family with really young kids. You sat on a moving car and it just took you one round to have a look on the items that were in the Ancient Egypt Period.

After the ride, I told huBb I'm ready for another thrilling ride. So we went opposite for the Revenge of the Mummy. It is another roller coaster ride but this time round it is in the dark. WooHoo !! After the ride, I need another rest AGAIN !!

So, we walked towards the Lost World.


We queued for the Canopy Flyer. Not too thrilling but it was actually a fast ride. Fast turns with slight drop. After getting down the Canopy Flyer, we took a shade at some corners until the opening of the Water World.

huBb has no intention of getting wet cos he is already wet from perspiring. However, we still sat at the green seats which states *The Wet Zones* Haha !! We took the last row of the green seats, and end of the day, we aren't wet at all.

The Water World show is pretty nice. The only thing that I don't like is the smell of fuel *_*

Walking towards the Far Far Away Land, huBb decided to take out his selfish yellow umbrella to shade the both of us.


Its about 1pm when we're there. So we had our lunch at the Friar's. It serves wraps and freshly baked potatoes.

After lunch, we visited the Shrek 4-D Adventure. The story line is exactly the same as the one I watched in Japan. But this time round, I'm finally able to understand what they are trying to say, as it was in English and not Japanese Language.

Then we proceeded to the Madagascar. Took a toilet break. *An important break. The key determining factor to what happens after*

After the toilet break, we waited for 10minutes for the Madagascar's show to start. The Madagascar's characters came out dancing. After the dance, we queued to take photos with the characters. We took photos with the penguins, alex and king julien.

Took the Enchanted Airways ride before proceeding on.

I decided to go for the Donkey LIVE back at Far Far Away Land. My intention is to cool ourselves down at the Hook's Knight Club. So we went in to the air-conditioned auditorium and sat down taking a lil rest.

After the donkey sang his single. He started talking with the lady host, Ross.

Donkey wanted to invite an audience to take part in his show and called out for the lady in pink sitting on the fifth row beside a guy wearing black shirt.

AND IT WAS ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I was up there on the screen answering to his few questions. My name. Where am I from. What do you like about Singapore. And who is the guy sitting right next to me. How long have we been together.

And huBb got invited up and entered the screen with me too !!

Donkey asked him for his name. When is he going to propose to me. *huBb replied that is for me to know and not for you to know*

So Donkey decided to make us get married right at this time in front of the crowd in his Donkey LIVE Show.

He started all the blar blar blar *would you take her/him as your ........*

And we said "Yes, I Do" & Kissed.

That explained the facebook status of mine: An unexpected memorable day for the both of us.

After the show, it was like OMG. Never in my life had I been so "lucky" to be picked out from the crowd to participate in such a thing. huBb keep saying he had it all planned and I din want to believe him.

Anyway, some side track: He told me on another day about what happened while we are having the toilet break at Madagascar.

When I'm still in the toilet, he met a USS personnel advertising Donkey LIVE. The person asked if he is here with anybody and so he told the person that he is here with his girlfriend.

And when I decided to take a break at Donkey LIVE, so coincidently he met that USS personnel while we were queuing for the show. He kind of expected that something will happen during the show, although what follows next wasn't expected by the both of us.

Ok, back to my day at USS.

After the Donkey LIVE, we took a detour back to Lost World -- Ancient Egypt -- Sci Fi City and back to New York City. At New York City, I bought the special bottle with pink ice-blended. Not because it was pink colour but because it was fruit punch !! It really quench our thirst.




Next, We went for the Lights! Camera! Action! hosting by Steven Spielberg.

Next, we stood by the Mel's Drive-In cafe watching the live performance by 4 guys dancing to retro music. It was really nice.


And after it ended, we followed the crowd and queued for the monster musical at the Pantages Hollywood Theater. A half an hour musical that keeps us swaying and heart popping.

That is our final destination before ending our day at USS.

I've also chosen a Betty Boop's Pink Bag as the Valentine's Gift from him. *Its pretty cos its pink* =)
