Extracted 2 wisdom tooth.
The upper & lower of her right wisdom.
--
When one is deciding to book an appt to extract the wisdom tooth.
It is advisable to have the appt in the day.
It is to prevent in the event that your bleeding is persistent, there'll still be dentist around to attend to you.
Of cos, this isn't a common case, so not to worry.
--
Reached the clinic at 1030am.
Did some administrative stuff like going through & signing the medisave form.
Extraction of lower wisdom tooth through minor surgery allows you to claim the cost through medisave.

The dentist that extracted my tooth - Dr Winston How !!!
He is a young handsome man.
Gentle too.
I was surprised that he came out to welcome me into the dental room.
Not a common sight.
--
After I sat on the dental chair, next came all the explaining of procedures.
As I've alrd taken an OPG before putting on braces, so there is no need for me to take an x-ray today.
Next, he talks to me, ask some question & also tell me what will I expect after the extraction.
Told me how he'll proceed with the anaesthesia jab.
First he went slow and took a longer time to jab around the gum to the nerves connecting to the cheek, chin, tongue & lips.
Next he jab nearer to the teeth itself. This one is slightly painful than the first jab.
*Anyway, it isn't as bad as what my friends had commented on the facebook* It is not even comparable to the withdrawing of blood during the medical check-up*
After the anaesthesia for my lower wisdom tooth, I'll need to take a rinse.
Then another round of anaesthesia jab for my upper wisdom tooth.

This is when ROY called to asked about the REC paper.
Break time
Also time allowed for the anaesthesia to numb all areas.
--
After I got back down the dental chair.
The dentist use a scalpel to test the effectiveness of the anaesthesia.
Comparing the left side & the right side.
Confirming that the area is numb, he started with the surgery !!
OMG !!!
You will feel some pressure but not pain.
He told me before the surgery that he'll need to cut my gums away, so I started imagining during the surgery.
When I realise that I was quite worried, I started thinking of REC Paper *Approval & Information*
LOL !!!
Felt some pressure on the lower wisdom tooth.
This is when he said, lets try the upper wisdom tooth.
As a patient when I heard lets try the upper wisdom tooth.
My first thought was: "My lower wisdom tooth is too stubborn to be pulled out. So left there half-extracted & moved on to the upper wisdom tooth"
So worried...
I was clenching my fist.
He know I'm nervous so he told me to relax and hold down my hands. *Give assurance*
He went on to exert some pressure on the upper wisdom tooth.
And asked me to rinse my mouth soon after.
--
When I was rinsing my mouth, the feeling is that NONE of my tooth came out.
When I turned back & he said done.
I still couldn't believe it, and looked down on the tray.
Saw both my teeth on the tray.
I exclaimed:"SO FAST?!!"
Haha !!
--
Next, he put some anti-bleeding medicine on my wounds.
Stitch up the wounds on my lower wisdom tooth.
TADA !! I went through the surgery !!
