Story of 覆水难收 by DD

Few times he asked: Why must you do this for your friends? Can't they do it themselves?

So I said: nvm ma. Since i did it for myself. I might as well send it to them too. No hassle. 顺便吗.

Will I be able to survive well in such a society ??

It is not a simple world -- I know.

But will it be too complicated for me to handle ??

When I told him some incidence that I felt sad abt.

He would say its normal to face all that. Nothing to be sad abt.

I agree.

Since its normal & I should have long acknowledge the reality of such cases.

I should be thinking & acting the norm way too.

Lotsa stuff happened to DD & molded him into the way he is now.

He loves to use examples from daily life and convert them into stories.
( ^_^ he applied what he learnt in daily life & vice versa)

He was teaching me this idiom = 覆水难收
And the story goes like this:

Its a sunny day and so I hung out my clothes on the thick bamboo stick.

And this stupid neighbour (used to be friendly b4 the incident & never will be after the incident) choose to wash his kitchen window at such a GOOD timing while im trying to dry my clothes out in the sun.

So trails of dirty water came dripping down my kitchen window and onto my CLEAN clothes.

He came shouting sorry & apologizing.

But so what if he apologizes or not??

1) My clothes are still wet & dirty

2) I have to re-wash my clothes

3) It won't stop him from washing his window when i'm hanging my clothes out the other time.

Moral of the story:

Things that are done are done. Water have been poured out & cant be retrieved back.
So what have you learn??

1) Never do things that you will regret.

2) Think before you act/say.

Thats the end of his lecture that other night =)

***HAHAX but i told him: DD I live in the highest storey. I will never met with such an incident.***Wahahax !!! But unless the neighbour below use a hose and water came shooting up. =p

He said it is possible !!!
